oh aye!! it is well known that the pain of childbirth is as nothing compared to the trapping of the todger in the zipper - and there is no gas and air or pethadine available for such situations!!

What's the silver lining about getting your knob caught in your zip?

The drift is that Seanworth said he hadn't got it caught, and therefore the Bish was alluding to the fact that every short-coming (a pun intended there I feel) has a silver lining. To properly spell it out so there is no mistake, the Bish has insulted seanworth's manhood by implying he is wielding a not too long weapon. Wars have started over less. Glad to help.

bit bemused really..

for some reason b&q send posts to my fb page - probably i entered a competition in the past... anyway... today they post this "mystery picture"

Image

along with this clue:
Mystery Product Wednesday! What am I?

A pretty surrounding for what I will show
Sometimes you'll love me, I'm here to help you grow
Placed on a mantelpiece, or hung from the wall
A helpful reminder that you've made the right call!

We'll reveal the answer tomorrow!
there is no prize - it is not a competition - yet 30 people have all commented and every single one has written "photo frame" - apart from the first commenter - they have all seen someone previously get the right answer!!!

why????? :conf:

I'd say the pic and the clue point at a carved wooden mirror frame. Do the two crosses have any meaning?

I agree it is a frame, but this could be pictures, mirrors, inspirational texts, posters, etc. Surely "help you grow" and "make the right call" should be significant, but I don't see it so far.

Him at our place that takes his paper for a shit for 30 minutes every morning? Currently suspended having failed the attitude test once too often, apparently.

Kinell. If we were forced to have attitude tests I'd fail it every time!

An "attitude test" .... I think I'm all for it, but what the fck is it ?

Do explain.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Latest episode with my Dad's dementia is that it appears he's flushed his false teeth down the toilet last night without any recollection.

My brother went searching in the drains and managed to rescue the top set that were caught up in some roots that had broken through the pipes, but as he was pulling them out, saw the top set go whizzing past. Despite legging it down the road to open the next manhole cover, it seems he got there too late.

Looks like it's soup and jelly for my Dad for the next four weeks until he can get a new set made up!
Hope is what keeps us going.
