Daughter has their pc in the kitchen/dining room and we all took turns to call out to a few old favourites on Youtube while dining last night, Kinks, Troggs, Union Gap, Toto, Congregation, Springfield, Dylan etc, literally anybody you liked. Great way to keep everybody happy without needing CD lengthy tracks (which always have something you don't particularly like or someone else doesn't like them).Bruce Rioja wrote:Sir Ray Davies - Working Man's Cafe
Worked a treat. Candle-lit steak dinner and music of choice. Perfick.

I reckon that you'd like this Maps album, mate. It's very Sigur Ros-ish in parts. I don't know what you're like with Elbow and Eels type stuff but there's quite a bit of that in there too.Batman wrote:been listening to some more Badly Drawn Boy

Try Maps album, fella. It's certainly worth it. Saw Elbow do a benefit gig in Manchester last year. I hadn't been a particular fan until they launched into Newborn and every single hair on the back of my neck stood up to listen. I'm a devotee now. They were absolutely superb. Conversely, the boy from Breightmet let himself down somewhat by keep breaking off to swear at his crew! No neeead!Dave Sutton's barnet wrote:Some quality recommendations on that CV there Bruce!
