So, another person gets a tiny bit too big for their boots and runs to the money. This is where they discover that they are simply attractive newsreaders and not personalities in their own right. They've succeeded due to the machine around them and without it they'll flounder.
How many people, over the years, have left the Beeb for ITV and it come tumbling down a few months later ?
I'm sure there are exceptions but not many. Anyway, she can now be back in London to watch her partner tap-off with all his contacts through Match.com .
Amy Nuttall has been a favourite of mine for some time TD. Flame haired temptress that she is.

Cannot believe that Olympus has Fallen isn't on that list. One of the most pathetic piles of shit that I've ever seen. Third worst film ever in fact.bobo the clown wrote:The Razzies were out yesterday and it looks like they were on the nail, as usual ...

"After Earth", the heap of shite with Will Smith and his nauseous son, Jayden, came through marvellously.

What did you expect of a film in which terrorists take over the whitehouse? I thought it was proper brainless entertainment.. Really fun to watch.Bruce Rioja wrote:Cannot believe that Olympus has Fallen isn't on that list. One of the most pathetic piles of shit that I've ever seen. Die Hard in the White House. Cheesy and unoriginal but not at all bad for what it was. I thought it was worth a watch.

Re: What are you watching tonight?
Odd week this week, watching two films set in asylums!
1) Girl, Interrupted - Meh, not a big fan. The tone just felt all off. Not really sure what it was for. Sometimes tried to be deep, and then got fecking stupid. Spent most of thinking, 'This is dumb. Winona Ryder is smoking hot'. Repeat.
2) One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest - Had never seen it before. Enjoyed it, though I think it's a little over-hyped. I know it's sacrilege to say, but usually Jack Nicholson irritates the piss out of me, but for once he was in a film where 'Jack Nicholson pretends to be nuts' is the plot rather than just a statement of fact. At his best here as he plays CAPSLOCK in a mental institute.

Totally agree about Chinatown. I also thought he was superb in the Shining.KeyserSoze wrote:You ever watched Chinatown, pru? Jack Nicholson's best.Prufrock wrote:Odd week this week, watching two films set in asylums!

Agreed. Watched this donkeys years ago with parents and siblings one Saturday night. It was described as a Black Comedy and all was well until Mum says ''Why aren't there very many Black People in this film?''KeyserSoze wrote:You ever watched Chinatown, pru? Kiefer Sutherland any good in it ?wigan white wrote:Watched "Storage 24" last night. Absolute pile of Dog-W*nk!!!!
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Even though he's not in it, he still acted better than all the others in it. Someone should tell that Noel Clarke to stick to bit parts in the Star Trek films instead of trying to do his own Sci-Fi films. It was absolute gash!!!bobo the clown wrote:Kiefer Sutherland any good in it ?wigan white wrote:Watched "Storage 24" last night. Absolute pile of Dog-W*nk!!!!

I often find his portrayals deeply uncomfortable .... partly because he seeks complex parts, partly because he adds complexity to them.
He really is very, very good ... but I often try to avoid his work simply as it has me feeling so awkward.
"As Good As It Gets" is a fantastic film, and a superb portrayal by him but I have no desire to re-watch it as it was so fantastically hard.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Re: What are you watching tonight?
I'm a fan of Jack Nicholson, think I prefer Cuckoo's nest to Chinatown as I've it at least 5 times and the ending never fails to get me.
Tonight I will be watching Wes Andersons 'Grand Budapest Hotel', I fully expect the cinema to be full of hipsters.
