Wonder how many genuine tennis fans have been unable to get tickets today because of "celebrity" fans? I mean, one just cannot have a prestige event without David Beckham and Victoria, (and a couple of hundred like them), can one? Just isn't tennis.

Aye, all we need now is that well known Scotsman, Mel Gibson with his Braveheart tie-pin to turn up now and it's complete.Bruce Rioja wrote:I was just thinking similar. Kinell. Hard on the nerves this. Murray needs to get his first serves going.

Hasn't backed down in the face of extreme pressure from Federer in the first set.
Going to be hard to keep that going.

Utterly incredible stuff being played here.
Speed, skill, agility, athleticism, concentration, power, accuracy, mental strength. Whatever the outcome I'm in complete fecking awe of these guys. This is absolutely stunning stuff.

Murray's playing out of his skin, and it isn't all about power either. Great tennis from both. Utterly fantasic.
