Today I'm angry about.....

If you have a life outside of BWFC, then this is the place to tell us all about your toilet habits, and those bizarre fetishes.......

The worst part is the longer we survive the more we encounter this sort of things. Nothing to be done, Dujon, but my condolences.

Real sorry to hear of your troubles Dujon. Life's full of unexpected events that nobody really comes out unscathed from. Condolences about your S.I.L. Stay strong mate.

Sorry to hear you have had such a sh*t week Dujon, the key to remember is that life is sh*t and if you learn to expect the worst then you will be a bit more prepared for it when the inevitable happens. Mind you at least 1 of those events could not be predicted so im basically talking rubbish.
The above post is complete bollox/garbage/nonsense, please point this out to me at any and every occasion possible.

"The key to remember"? Get a grip Dan. How old are you, 20? Try seeing a few of the good things like youth, good health and your whole life in front to you. Buck up lad ffs.

Condolences Dujon. Yesterday, in the space of half an hour I was told my Great Aunt May had died and that a friend of mine's wife had passed away. Both had been ill for some time but it was still shitty to hear.

Dan. Life is shit at times. The trick is to enjoy the good times and remember them during the bad.

Thanks, chaps. I really shouldn't have posted that. I must have been feeling a bit in the dumps.

Leave Dan alone - he's still learning but his heart's in the right place. Dan, for your information I'll turn the dreaded three-score-and-ten in a couple of weeks so I think I've found out what life is like. Nevertheless, I appreciate your thoughts if not the effort to 'teach your grandmother to suck eggs'. Don't worry; keep learning and keep to the straight and narrow.

I think that you posted that to deflect some flack of Dan.

If I am right and I may well be wrong, I salute you.

Dan isn't getting flack in any nasty sense, jaffca. It's just a a bit frustrating to find a negative attitude in somebody so young and with all before him. I want him to enjoy life, not see it as shxt.

I know that Tango and agree with you.

but he has bared his soul elsewhere, which isn't wise in my humble opinion.

I may be a million miles wide with what I have put, but my hunch feeling suggests otherwise.

You only realistically have one option, you deal with it and I don't mean that to sound harsh in anyway but it makes you a better person inside and gives you peace to appreciate what you have, trust me.

Dan, in my opinion, it is wise not to reveal too much of your personal life, thoughts and ups and downs to people you scarcely know.

If you have got massive issues going on in your life, then help is available elsewhere and best of all it will be confidential.

Don't take what I have said the wrong way, I was sticking up for you.

Mr bobo, a year ago got herself a new phone. It was a Nokia Lumia 800. She got it because it was a Windows OS and, very rationally, argued that as she was familiar with Windows from PC's it'd be an easy learn and, hey, what could be wrong with it.

It's fair to say it's not all that much cop, far from intuitive and it offers far less than other OS systems in terms of App's etc. But hey ho.

Now the battery is losing charge a little more quickly than before so I got her a new battery.

Fck me, what a palaver. My Samsung, my previous Blackberries and even the old Nokia I had it was simply a matter taking the back off and pulling the battery out. The Nokia 800 however requires me to unscrew two tiny 'hidden' screws, then leaver off the screen. Then remove 4 more tiny screws and then lever out a connecter unit and only then can I get to the battery.

Who the fck thought this was satisfactory ???

Don't get too cocky, jaffka. Many years ago I had cause to work on an Apple Mac to install for a customer the quite simple request to upgrade the memory. Simple the act was not. Firstly I had to source the memory at some extraordinary price (even for those days) then I found that Apple would not supply information to non-Apple repairers. That meant that I had to find my way into the blasted thing by trial and error. I did it - finally - but it took hours and hours of concentrated effort to get there. Even in those days the bog-standard XTs and 286s took about five minutes to access, install the new memory and close. After that (but this applies to both) I'd give the memory a decent sort of test. My heavens the Mac was slow!

I've never since trusted Apple - over 'hyped', over priced it seems to me.

Nah.

For what I want at home apple products are the boss.

Apple TV, airplay for my speakers and printer. All so easy to set up and interlinks with each other. Apple stuff just works. No faffing about windows stuff.

Suits what I do.
