I'll always defend QT, partly due to being told I look like him for all my adult life, I feel an affinity. Happens less frequently now I have no hair but in student days mid 90s it was literally every night out for a while. Not really a compliment but feck it.

Read an article where he said stop moaning about the killings of major characters because they were all flawed and deserved it. Fair comment.wigan white wrote:Season 4 Finale tonight for Game of Thrones.....can't feckin wait to see how George R.R. martin is gonna shaft us again!!!!

He's selling character names for charity. If you want one of his major characters to have your name he'll write you into the script, but he guarantees you a ghastly death.LeverEnd wrote:Read an article where he said stop moaning about the killings of major characters because they were all flawed and deserved it. He's a fiend of he highest order, but I love him all the same. I've never known a TV series quite like it for not knowing whats going to happen next. Definitely the best fictional TV series I've ever seen.LeverEnd wrote:Read an article where he said stop moaning about the killings of major characters because they were all flawed and deserved it. ha! pretty much nothing dramatic happens in Mad Men (which is fine) - so imagine my surpise when the English guy gets his foot mowed off by a secretary on a runaway-mower in the middle of the office!!

Ah. How topical. LF are sending me Oranges Are Not The Only Fruit, written by that lady that caught, killed, skinned, cooked and ate the rabbit that had been helping itself to her radishes and whatnot. I've been waiting bloody ages for this one.
May the bridges I burn light your way
Re: What are you watching tonight?
Jeanette Winterson. Read that years ago, thought it was excellent. Charlotte Coleman was in it I think, died tragically young. Why's it topical, or am i being dim?Bruce Rioja wrote:Ah. How topical.
