Started watching that Peaky Blinders yesterday. Rather enjoyable.

Not convinced by the music. Or Cillian Murphy's accent. And Sam Neill clearly watched a lot of Ian Paisley. And Churchill looks like tubes from Soccer AM.

Still, i'm carrying on.

series 2 was better than series 1, I think... particularly liked the Jewish mafia boss-guy in that there London!

Pretty impressed they got Tom Hardy for that! Only seen little snippets but lookign forward to it. The current big cheese (assuming it is Billy Kimber) just looks like Boycey :/

Watched an intriguing video of a 2014 scientific investigation into The Turin Shroud. Takes up an hour (which few will probably last through) but the last quarter (from 45 mins in) is quite fascinating and admits that science/technology/mathematics can't explain any of it and that the carbon dating that previously declared it a fraud was wrong. I'm claiming nothing from it but it's fascinating watching (at least for me)

Absolutely fantastic film. Took my lad to watch it at the pics, it was amazing. Funnily enough I watched it again last night on my tablet, still laughed out loud at it the 2nd time.
Also watched the new Godzilla and wish I hadn't bothered. Total pants!!!

I love the end bit where Groot is in the pot dancing to the Jackson season.
Just couldn't really get into Godzilla. Thought Bryan Cranstons character was wasted and the story was just a bit Meh.

Saw the imitation game at the corner House yesterday. Impressive performances from Cumberbatch and Knightly. It won't get the recognition that say, the kings speech did, but it deserves to. A brilliant film.
