The new series of House of Cards has been released on NF today. That's most of my weekend sorted.

I hated that Calvary. Awfully miss-cast with Roy Trenneman, a pretty stupid storyline and none of the style you expect from the Makers of The Guard.

"What we do in the shadows" the new film from the makers of "Flight of the conchords" . A brilliantly funny and original film. Definitely recommend it.

We had a family movie night too, popcorn n'all.
Man on a Ledge - standard crime fare from New York city about, erm, a man on a ledge.
Braveheart. An oldie but overly sentimental goldie that only myself of the four of us had previously seen.

Re: What are you watching tonight?
Dad and daughter night last night. Pie and Chips for tea (well, it IS National Pie Week). I had Chicken 'n' Mushroom and Miss GtE polished off a Steak 'n' Kidney.
Settled down to watch 'I am Number Four', a film about a teenage boy who's not a teenage boy, he's an alien. One of nine survivors of a devastating cull of his home planet by the evil force known as the Mogadons or some such.
Absolute bollocks that me and daughter ended up laughing at all the way through. Don't think it was meant as a comedy though.

Lucy. As much as I admire Scarlett Johansen, this was utter shite. It almost made Transcendence look average.
I've got Nightcrawler to watch tonight, heard good things.

Re: What are you watching tonight?
Lucy went the way of Interstellar for me. Not a fecking chance based on one line used to sell it in the trailer.

Watched it the other night, as someone bought it for Mrs BP's birthday. Started off ok and quickly descended into nonsense. Anyone want the DVD?LeverEnd wrote:Lucy. As much as I admire Scarlett Johansen, this was utter shite. It almost made Transcendence look average.

Tbh I don't get the attraction with Johansen either. Very average.
