binged all six episodes of Peter Kay's new 'Car Share' which have appeared on the iplayer this morning.

i know its gonna be one of them things that will annoy me soon on account of how popular its about to become, but in fairness to the big fella its pretty excellent! Great on screen chemistry with Him and Kayleigh who is pretty unknown it seems. only a few genuine LOL's (esp one featuring Kenny Senior!!) but lots of big grinning! couple of hilarious cameos in there and ultimately a bit of a endearing love story. the car radio plays a big part too!

its all filmed around Manchester and Bolton too which is good but can also get a bit distracting trying to place watch! they have a friggin convoluted route to work anyway!

Couldn't agree more, on each count. The Kenny Senior cameo was possibly the funniest of the lot. Full credit to the girl playing Kayleigh also.

Recognised a few places in Bolton, but as you say, it does become a little distracting.

Only watched the first 3 episodes so far, but will be watching the rest asap.

^ Perhaps I should put this in the angry thread

Folk coming on here who've watched 3 or 4 episodes of a series that doesn't start until Wednesday!

Either of you know how we get on tonight and whether it's worth me tuning in? :P

See, that's exactly what I do. When that Jim Broabent/John Simm thing was on that was filmed in Rammy I constantly found myself thinking - Hang on.... if you've just walked down there then you wouldn't have come out anywhere near there.

Happens in Spring and Port Wine. She runs off along a canal tow path at Nob End, goes under a bridge and teleports into Leverhulme Park. A bit far fetched if you ask me.

As well as the above mentioned, Le Mans crescent has been used both in an episode of Sherlock Holmes and as Kremlin buildings using artificial snow for the BBC2 series, Sleepers with Russian cars driving under the arches. Barrow Bridge featured in the film Sam. Versatile place is Bolton.

Peaky Blinders too. When Cillian Murphy sets his sister up in an Edwardian Townhouse they're stood outside the Magistrates Court.

I think Smiley's People used it for Cold War Moscow also.

Only 1 season of Peaky Blinders on UK Netflix. Is the second season on the US version?

Can't say I wasn't warned. What was Liam Neeson doing with more Taken films? First one wasn't much cop, was warned off Two, just watched Three. Serves me right. Utter bollox.
