What is wrong with the world? I don't think I have ever felt as pessimistic about humanity as I have in this past week.
Yours in cynicism etc etc
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

I didn't even feel comfortable them showing peoples luggage on the news, let alone looking through it. Don't want to make excuses for the guy but seems like a symptom of rolling 24 hour news coverage where nothing may have happened but they'll still be expected to report something.Lord Kangana wrote:Sky. we allowed the inlaws to have a devon holiday using our house as a base while we were away. M-in-Law seems to have decided that she had a much better idea how my kitchen should be arranged and where stuiff should go than I did. result: pretty much every ordinary thing i have looked for in the kitchen today is not where it should be - but somewhere stupid!

Re: Today I'm angry about.....
When our kids were young we used to have a "don't touch stuff" mantra for Nana's house (my Mother in Law)...we now apply it the other way round when she's here...X might not be where you'd keep it, but we put it there for a reason.thebish wrote:we allowed the inlaws to have a devon holiday using our house as a base while we were away. I have a similar policy. All you've got to do is substitute 'life' for 'kitchen' and then you'll have my policy.Abdoulaye's Twin wrote:My mother (and in law) are banned from my kitchen. Saves much aggro

My wife does really stupid things like that. Things like the cheese grater or the kitchen scales have been in the same cupboard for the last 12 years then I go to find it and she has moved it somewhere else for no good reason. She cannot explain why she has put it in a different cupboard. Why apart from annoying the hell out of me?

Questions like " Where are the scissors"? etc....used to drive me bonkers especially when the kids were at home. Now, thankfully, old-fashioned as it be, "A place for everything and everything in its place" however boring, is highly effective with no stress factor. Now, where did I put my Philips screw driver..?

Not quite the same as "I really didn't do it, I'm innocent", is it dear!Contostavlos, 26, insisted throughout that she had been unfairly entrapped by Mahmood, who gained access by posing as a wealthy Bollywood film producer interested in casting the singer as the lead in a major film, purportedly opposite Leonardo DiCaprio and for a supposed fee of more than £3m. She said she had merely been playing up to a "bad girl" role she believed the producers were seeking.

Well, I wouldn't go near Spotty's office for at least another six hours as he'll have to start from scratch. He might be a tad upset.Bijou Bob wrote:Whoosh. It's an upload not a transfer. Important to get these things right when talking about super ants.
