Indeed it is. This tiny! Please excuse the quality of the picture as the camera on my iPhone's absolutely shite (as Worthy attests above )Verbal wrote:Academy 3? That's bleedin tiny!
You can though, just make out above the heads, four guitar/ists in a line almost knocking into one and other. Behind them of course are the drummer, the keyboard player and the back line. So it was pretty full up there. I was stood in the five yard gap between the mixer desk and the bar at the back of the room. A superb little venue.
May the bridges I burn light your way

Ain't moving anywhere tonight. Wife dragged me round Bury and the market today. Very stressful. Got a couple of really cheap CD's and, although I hate to admit it, when it comes to shopping, Bury now knocks spots off Bolton. You can buy almost anything you like, including a goodly selection of cafes, within a couple of hundred square yards. Hot beef barm and onions and a gradely mug of tea eased the pain somewhat.

thanks for your messages tho!
keep us posted - best moments of your life coming soon....
Labour lasted from then till 14:22 this afternoon, when she gave birth to a gorgeous baby girl, 9lb's on the nose.
was a traumatic time, the baby had to be helped out with forceps, it was like a scene in casualty with all the dr's & nurses buzzing about, and the delivery room floor looked like summat out of the sweeny todd when he'd finished! my missus was so exhausted she passed out and missed the first four hours of our daughters life. it was an incredibly stressful situation but when we first heard her cry i felt this rush of emotion i wasnt expecting & that i never even knew was possible - i could not speak!
happiest moment of my life.
unfortunatly the missus has to be kept in for a few days to recover, the baby could have come home no problem, but i have just had to leave them at the hospital which wasnt very nice!
ive not slept since wednesday night but am still buzzing, ive just poured a massive havana club & coke AND opened a bottle of stella - hopefully it'll knock m

We've all been there. Two girls and a lad for me, fair while ago now, but you never forget. Enjoy your daughter as much as you can while she's young. Dread them getting fourteen.General Mannerheim wrote:im filling up at every mention! here, texts, fb, emails... - cant understand whats wrong with me?

The most moving moment of your life, i reckon, so very pleased for you...
She will make you tired, and happy, and worried, and proud, and will gild your life...
Just love her and she'll love you back with such need, and trust, and belief in you...
This comes from a man with three daughters, who feels blessed - now, forget the dog!!!
Congratulations!
oh - don't worry, the forceps marks fade - they may last longer than you expect, but they go...
