Standoff going on at Salford Precinct right now as well apparently. It's a rumourmonger's dream this.
Greater Manchester Police was today sending more than 100 riot cops to help out with the devastating riots in London.
Well done GMP. Free reign for all in Manchester and Salford it is then. feck it, I'm going joining in too then!

I bet not much will happen tonight.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.

So much scaremongering it's ridiculous. Whoever your mate's wife's dog-walkers firm is, they're mugs and missed an afternoon of work. There's more police than hoodies in Salford precinct, despite them sending some officers down south.
If folk would stop texting and tweeting "apparently" this and "my friend said" that, there'd be nowt brewing in Manchester
Get grips

Perhaps you could double check with a real news channel?

I think that's a reasonable point TBH. By far the best explanation yet. Why should completely talentless arseholes be able to generate income?CrazyHorse wrote:Latest gem from 5 live aka the comedy news channel tonight.

I'm well up for the blame being put on shite celebrities.
We can mock up a fake celebrity big brother house, get them all in, then set the dogs on 'em.
Would double as a police riot control/army interrogation training centre aswell.

Yeah ok then. In this fast moving world, I now have conclusive proof that it's the Conservative's fault.CrazyHorse wrote:Shirley their talent is the ability to generate income despite being an arsehole and not having any other talent?Worthy4England wrote:I think that's a reasonable point TBH. 30 seconds in.

Re: Here we go (aka UK riots thread)
Strange atmosphere on the walk home down Deansgate, mostly shop owners and staff standing in their doorways half-nervously. The chairs outside Living Room & that lot cleared away but places still open. All I saw were a few scrotes going past me on their bikes shouting something about a riot and traffic gridlock being broken up by police vans with the sirens on.
Seems to have gone off a little bit but doubt it'll be that bad. Not an expert on crowd control but Manchester City Centre seems like police could surround certain areas if they played it right. Dunno about Salford Precinct.

Salford Precinct apparently the Bargain Booze has been done. Gotta have the Special Brew before kicking off a decent riot.
Re: Here we go (aka UK riots thread)
Scene from a Salford estate. Nothing too crazy, but proof that something's gone on and its not all clear like GMP are saying

The geezer in the gimp balaclava .... now can anyone tell me a valid reason for possessing one ? The wearing of face hiding wear in normal situations should be banned (& if that pulls in burkah's and the like .... good).
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
