The Speed car was at the top of the rollercoaster for 18 to 20 minutes, the park said.
A Pembrokeshire theme park says passengers were in no danger after a rollercoaster was halted by a power problem.

Oakwood said it had not received any complaints from people stuck at the top of the Speed ride after a power cut or surge. The ride was "entirely safe" and was stopped as a safety measure, a spokesman said.

The incident is believed to have taken 18 to 20 minutes in total to resolve. The spokesman said "safety is at the top of absolutely everything we do" and since taking over Oakwood the owners had spent hundreds of thousands of pounds on ensuring standards were as high as possible. He said the ride had remained closed on Tuesday and Wednesday while awaiting a new transmitter for the engineers' lift.

It is thought the transmitter was put of action by the power cut or surge.

Count me out of that ride too - I'd be happy if it never went down the other side!

But that wasn't just a picture of the ride Monty, that is a picture of the train on it having broken down and stuck in that position ..... with passengers on ... passengers who had to sit there as it was worked on.
