And Alastair Cook destroys the West Indies' bowling on his way to a momentuous 4.

Same here. Would have done easily too, if he'd not gotten anxious. Shame.Bruce Rioja wrote:Would have loved to have seen Best get 5 more though

I couldn't help thinking though that he got out with exactly the sort of shot that you'd expect from a Windie tail-end batter. Shame indeed.BWFC_Insane wrote:Same here. Pietersen and Bell have steadied it but catching up looks a long way away right now.

Re: creeeeeeeekeeeeeet
That's better.
Unless the weather forecast is wrong it looks like the game will peter out to a draw. That is a shame but not the fault of the cricketers - the weather can be a right pain in the neck at times. I've forgotten the number of times a contest at the 'Gabba has been spoiled by monsoon-like downpours which disadvantaged one of the teams involved.

No one can strike a cricket ball like Chris Gayle. He's been out of international cricket too long and it's great to see him back!

Can't beat the wonderful sound of the Aussies being sent packing again.

It has been statistically proved that the sound of the ball hitting the back of the net at Old Trafford on 11 Sept 2002 was much more wonderful.
Can't remember who scored.

Another win for the one day team and fairly convincing. Again.

Re: creeeeeeeekeeeeeet
What an abysmal performance by the Australian team. I think that Clarke must have lost the plot at some stage - eight bowlers! That, surely, has to be desperation stuff, even if a change bowler is required.
For a supposedly top class team a score of 200 is quite dreadful, particularly if the opposition reels in that figure with only two wickets down. Congratulations to the England team for a pretty decent demolition job on the Aussies.

Re: creeeeeeeekeeeeeet
Has Peter Moores been secretly replaced by Owen Coyle?
