I've a half a mind to enter one just to thumb the noses of Prufrock and Hermes

Running's hard enough without putting obstacles in the way.

Swim, Cycle, Run. Tis the future.

Verbal, I actually got halfway through the online application for next year's London Marathon before I gave my head a shake and closed the application down.

This year I'm concentrating on 5k 10k and Half Marathons with the odd tri thrown in for good measure.

Looking at either Brighton or Berlin. Berlin is on my birthday, though.

I'll probably consider tri when a) i get a bike and b) my upper body strength improves from zero to minimal.
