The worst thing is afterwards I was saying I'd never do that again if you paid me. Spent most of yesterday looking at what marathon(s) to do next year :(

Verbal, I actually got halfway through the online application for next year's London Marathon before I gave my head a shake and closed the application down.

This year I'm concentrating on 5k 10k and Half Marathons with the odd tri thrown in for good measure.

:D I went on the website to register last night but the process had closed. Boo hiss.

Looking at either Brighton or Berlin. Berlin is on my birthday, though.

I'll probably consider tri when a) i get a bike and b) my upper body strength improves from zero to minimal.

Aye. The Mrs went on to register last night and it had closed inside a day! She might get a place through our club, which is how I got mine, but it's touch and go.
