New Fratellis album is turd

the first is probably my favorite album from the last 5 years. the only song ive heard from the new one is the single, and it would be the weakest track on the first album

yeah me too, though mistress maple is a great track. i have only played the new album once or twice, and struggling for an excuse to give it another go to be honest. nothing stand out at all.

in my earphones at the moment is 2 many dj's, Soulwax - frickin awesome!

The Ting Tings - We Started Nothing.

It's my first listen, but up to now I'd say that it starts off briiliantly and then sort of empties out quite quickly. I shall re-evaluate after a few more listens I reckon.

And it's had quite sufficient plays to impress me, which on the whole it hasn't, and I'll stand by my original remarks (except for briiliantly )

There are a couple of funky tracks that grow on you but overall I'd suggest listening to it before committing to buy it.

Still, undeterred as ever after being fished-in once again by one song, on the free cd that came with last month's The Word there's a song by a girl that trades under the questionable sobriquet of Joan As Police Woman. So rich is her voice that I've just ordered the album. I'll let you know how I get on with it.

Oh, and right now I'm just listening to the free cd that's come with this month's edition.

The song that's fished me in is titled 'Holiday'. I've just found the youtube version. For the love of God, don't bother. How do you post up a studio version of something instead? Anyone know?
