I shall be partaking of a German pork sandwich straight off the pig next weekend at the Christmas market in Manchester.

Knocking back a few glasses of mulled wine at the same time :pissed:

Excellent speech. Peanut butter and Marmite myself.
For me, peanut butter and cheddar cheese. It works so well :oyea:

Either that, or bacon sausage egg 'mega' with either red or brown sauce, from A+M Sandwiches at the bottom of Belmont Rd near Asda. Supoib.

If you have to ask:

Barm or barm cake Lancashire a flat, floured, savoury, small bread made using a natural leaven including mashed hops to stop it souring.
Flour cake is also used, along with barm in Bolton

Be hard pushed to beat a chilled Cheese Ploughmans, bloody lovely.

For the warm variety, it'd have to be a chip barm...simple but bloody good.

More to the point, General. Why would you put a pasty on a cake with blueberries in it? :conf:
