Who is your idol?

If you have a life outside of BWFC, then this is the place to tell us all about your toilet habits, and those bizarre fetishes.......

See, I don't really have an idol as such, just people that I'd love to go for a pint and a chew of the fat with regardless of whether I'm a fan of there work or not. Just people that I reckon you could have a right old natter with.

I'd love to meet Paul McCartney, I'd also love to meet Danny Baker just to compare footie watching stories with. Richard E Grant, Bill Bryson, Rick Wakeman, William Hague, Nick Faldo, Steve Jones (although I have met Glen Matlock), the list goes on, just people that I reckon that it wouldn't be difficult to draw some quality stories out of and have a laugh with.
May the bridges I burn light your way

Met Liam once, not what you'd expect at all, really nice and funny guy. /end name drop]

Interesting, ta. Not saying he's a total knob-head - especially when there isn't an audience with camera/microphone - but I find his big brother more interesting. Anyways...

I once saw their older brother Paul at Manchester airport. Being the 'Big I am'. Thought he was a total prick.

Met and spoke to Nat Lofthouse a few years ago, so genuinely friendly.

Would love to meet Okocha and thank him for the memories

Outside football I'd like to have met Edmund Hillary (RIP), and one day hope to have chat with the Dalai Lama.

Oh, and I once served dinner to the Prime Minister of Papua New Guinea.

I was once at Brands Hatch during a race of champions thing (I think) in the paddock leaning on a barrier having a smoke when a strong accented bloke ask me for a light, it was Keke Rosberg and Stefan Johanson, they both stood with me laughing and joking about some driver who was making a hash of it, both were a lot of fun and really down to earth.

Robert Rankin is fantastic too but I would say that :)

Hey Super Kev, I didn't realise the Pumpkins were that old??????

I've met Jussi on a couple of occassions and have been a babbling idiot, he's tall and I'm short so he was on his knees when I asked for a photo. I also asked if I could look at his hands... I'm ashamed. (he did show me his big hands).

A few years ago I got to meet David Beckham when he was still involved with the England squad and was still at Real Madrid. He was wonderful, a complete star, friendly, un-egoful and soooooooo beautiful. Happy days indeed.

*sigh*
