What we need to do tomorrow is get amongst them and keep them unsettled, just as they did today. We need an aggressive attitude (to match theirs) and some determination. Smith's gone and a couple of early wickets in the morning could see us keeping a similar scoreline to ours. Once they get dug in they're going to build up a total then try and scatter us cheaply again. A draw will suit them at worst because they're already one up. Not too happy with the umpiring which seems a bit weighted in their favour right now.

I'm at an absolute fecking loss there, fella. What is it that we've won at? That was just a random draw from the Scrabble bag. Hey, maybe we're good at that?! Scrabble. We'd piss on the Yanks and their missing 'u' for sure! :P

Well, Dibbs, I'd ask the question "England Captain, what's the point?"

It's a position that has throghout time taken a talented cricketer and turned him into an absolute mug. Why? :conf:

Least theres been some high points today. Jimmys catch was pretty amazing stuff, and Flintoff Vs Kallis just then was brilliant viewing.

We have the advantage to redeem, so please, let's not hand it back again.

Doh Panasar drops the dolly of dolly's but it only costs us 2 runs as Vaughan takes a blinder, the best catch he's ever taken according to Alex Stewart on 5 Live, to remove Boucher.

Have to make sure I watch the highlights later on for that

Rain has stopped play to boot. It'll give our openers a little time to rest before they come out

40-2. Not the best start but, hey-ho. No half measures for us. Onwards and upwards.

Indeed - with Pietersen playing one of those careful, measured innings that he's so good at...

I’m locked in tight, I’m out of range
I used to care, but things have changed"
