I am fairly low in spirits - but not quite as far down the scale for it to qualify as "miserable" - I'm probaby at the mildly dischuffed mark..
however, I have noticed that it is now taking me a lot longer to "bounce back" from a defeat.
I used to bounce back quite quickly - avoiding MOTD - and all newspapers - and then quite quickly begin to gather insane hope for the next match.
nowadays I bounce back much slower - largely because I am finding it harder to gather hope that the next match will be the beginning of a mini-revival - even if only one game in duration!
