O2 will give you an N8, 600 mins and 500mb a month for £35.
Personally, I sell the phones and use a brick.

We're currently with o2, the coverage is utterly shite. Beware.Lord Kangana wrote:O2 will give you an N8, 600 mins and 500mb a month for £35.

I've been on O2 for years.
Best coverage in central London basement kitchens. And thats a fact.
Though if I'm honest, these days I see it as a bonus when theres no coverage and people can't mither me.

Been on Vodaphone forever and a day. Never had a scent of a problem. Not that I'm the most consistent of mobile users mind; one of my most recent texts was from Crayons when I was in Spain, telling me Bolton had won and Nolan had scored with an overhead kick.

Oh No! Danger!
I've just heard that our phones/contract is/are all up for renewal, only, someone (well, the MD) has decided to put the cost-of-everything-value-of-nothing FD in charge of it.
I await one of these!!

Only downside to Android phones are the shite apps.
Re: New mobile phone time
dont buy a hp palm pre (or related, the tablet neither, or possibly its laptops/desktop- good job they can run owt), as hp have just gone mental and turned into a enterprise software company.
bit of a shame coz the palm webos seems cool.

Re: New mobile phone time
In fact its a bad time to be buying anything HP related. Their touchpads are being reduced to $99 later this month after only a month on release. I think that basically they have realised they've released a sub-standard piece of gear as this Downfall video demonstrates.... yes, another one of them - but this one is funny!a1 wrote:dont buy a hp palm pre (or related, the tablet neither, or possibly its laptops/desktop- good job they can run owt), as hp have just gone mental and turned into a enterprise software company.

some hacker types shoved webos on a ipad 2 (or somethin') and it benchmarked around twice as fast.clapton is god wrote:

might be ok if they license (or open source, but hp wont do that unless they act out of character) webos .
as phonefirms are getting twitchy now google bought motorola, webos might be their only way 'out' if google go all apple-like.
you'll be ok with the PCs.. bargains to be had.
in a going out of business kinda way, 'if this is faulty i'm a bit stuck' ..

Re: New mobile phone time
HP are just about to flog off their hardware bits for both Palm and Personal Systems Group (PSG) if they can.
They will retain WebOS though, as an OS it benchmarks well against direct competitors, although I can see it possibly doing a "Betamax"
