No ... & get to your work man.
Well the NYSE is down, so work is mainly consisting of making rubbish tweets about that. Cricket is the only option
Ah. Fairy Nuff.

Why's it down ?
Nobody knows. They're saying 'technical issues' which basically seems like code for 'we've tried turning it off and on again but nothing is working'.

Wall Street Journal website is down as well, so there are eight million conspiracy theories circulating around, which is nice.

Europe's turn next week .... to give the markets time to adjust whatever happens in Greece.

Good days cricket with twists and turns.

Starc and Stokes are brewing a grudge.

Exactly - bloody Greeks. I'm not happy.

It certainly looks like Joe's overcome his cricketing woes. After Haddin's faux pas he seemed to go from strength to strength; good luck to the man. Ballance was terrific at the other end too. What a great partnership - produced just when needed! I listened to the radio for the last two sessions so it's hard to gauge what the wicket's been up to, but from the commentary it sounded rather unfriendly for the bowlers. Still, a great start for the Three Lions. Today's another day and one that could be absorbing. :)

That shot that Buttler got himself out with. I don't expect to see shots like that played at Bradshaw, let alone in the fecking Ashes. Sort it out! :whack:

Finished on 430. I think with Root dropped on 0 at 43-3 we'd have all taken that! Live text reckons it's moving about a bit more today. Jimmy time?

Couple of reasonable shouts early doors. Jimmy getting a little lateral movement and some swing, but not shifting it very far at the moment in front of the bat. :-)

Hmmm. 145 for 2 at Tea.

Anyone know the odds on an Aussie whitewash?

Rogers gone in the nineties, making him the first batsmen to score four consecutive test fifties without converting any of them to hundreds.

265 for 6. Get stuck into their tail now and we'll be reet. 8)

Haddin is in. If you recall the Ashes down under last time, we actually had them in a few tricky top order situations, then Haddin came in....Second highest run scorer in the Series and averaged 60+

I want to see the back of him.

Aye, I was being a bit tongue in cheek. The bastards have always been able to bat down the order. I remember some splendid knocks by the likes of Shane Warne and Brett Lee. Brett fecking Lee
