well I work with them and I'm yet to meet one that isn't. And steady with the corruption of my monicker.Little Green Man wrote:Steady with the stereotyping there, Comrade Work-Ethic. I agree with that reasoning but his form on the hardcourts has been sensational, his price will drift out on Betfair by some margin I think. As you well know, odds on Betfair are very liquid in nature, and odds would change dramatically if a player on court was having smelling salts between games, its that ridiculous at times. Its not like hes just beaten Federer!blurred wrote:He's as low as 18/1 to win the US Open on Paddypower, which is just fecking daft. Can get 32 on Betfair, which is still equally daft.

In case you didn't already know, you are addressing the 1995 winner of the Christ Church Walmersley Junior Tennis Championship. So there is little else for me to achieve in the world of professional sport. I would be happy if you would retract that comment.

Well done Murray, I suppose.
Shame Ana Ivanovic was knocked out tonight.

Does anyone remember Barbara Schett? Poor tennis player, great to look at.
I'll revise my prediction in this thread too, Murray will win the US Open within five years.

PROBLEM WITH TENNIS IS THAT FEDERER IS SEEN AS NAILED ON FROM THE OFF
MURRAY IS STILL 36S FOR THE OPEN
NOW, IMO, THATS PLAIN DAFT
HE'S IN THE TOP 6-10 IN THE WORLD NOW, AND CAN BEAT ANYBODY, WITH THE POSS EXCEPTION OF THE TOP 2
DESPITE BEING INTO THE SECOND WEEK, AND WELL IN FORM, HE'S DEEMED NOT TO HAVE A CHANCE, DESPITE HIS RECENT DEFEAT OF FEDERER

CAPS he's barely in the top 20 at the moment. So far he's only won 1 tournament and his win/loss record is 32/20 this year. He's only reached 2 finals and gotten past the last 16 on 7 times in around 20 events this year. He's still a long shot as he's not consistently shown he's got what it takes to win tournaments.
