I'd just love it, love it if Mick McCarthy's Wolves do the double over Sunderland. Not that I've anything against Sunderland, just against pathetically self appointed spokespeople that felt the need to replace ailing ability with vulgar and violent play whilst hiding behind a reputation.

While I do not condone Keanes actions in 02, I can understand them. The training facilities for the Irish were appalling.

Or is this reaction because he played down the road for Salford Redsox? If the latter be the case, then Tony Dunne and Willie Morgan were worthless piles of shite too.

As a neutral I wish him luck.

or...

could it be the deliberate high tackle just above Haaland's knee (the two had a kind of a feud going on) during which Keane shouted "Take that, you c**t!" in an atempt to break his leg? (later in his autobiography he admitted as much)

I hope he turns out utterly crap as a manager and is a complete laughing stock... dirty git.

All kinds of things get exggerated in footballers' autobiographies. They don't even write most of them.

Mmmm...

given that he was banned for it (a second time) - he presumably failed to use the excuse: "I never wrote it, it was made up, it didn't happen."

anyway, Mummy, I've told you 100million times, I don't deal in exaggeration...

The last time Keane divided opinion round these parts, Allardyce and Gary Speed were firmly on my side.

Don't see the majority of Wanderers fans doing so. Players know when they aren't pulling their weight or are making mistakes. The last thing most men want is someone playing headmaster and treating them like wayward kids on the pitch and to the press. For my money, a big big NO! His antics with Mick McCarthy alone were enough for me.
So you don't think Sunderland would be interested in him then??

Allardyce and Speed were just being diplomatic.

They didn't want to upset you.
