I write the Christmas Cards my Nan sends out every year, on account of her being a barely literate job stealing immigrant, and this is very much true. Although she goes further by having a complicated system of how many 'x's to put at the bottom of the card depending on how many they put in response or how much she likes them. Thankfully, I think this year she is deciding not to bother at all.

Here's our annual Christmas card as thanks to all the members of The-Wanderer website, who've supported the site for another year. All the best to you all from the Admin team.

I just asked good old Jeeves and he told me..
Then whole phrase is “blue and green should never be seen without a color inn between.” This is an old Scottish phrase that was speaking of clothing ncolors. It meant that it was easier to get them to look good together byn mixing a third color.
Looks like your in the clear Tango :D

So it's a Scotchish saying ... & about clothes. So glad they took their own advice with all those tartans.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
"I understand you are a very good footballer" ... "I try".

I think Andy Murray's mum was wearing a blue and green tartan outfit on sports personality.

Whatever it was it was ill-advised

which was the origin of the topic, but nonetheless tartan in general is a poor idea.

The Black Watch and McKenzie tartans are green and blue. Both clans wish you all a Merry Christmas.

What better reason to have kids then to dress them up in embarrassing costumes at Christmas time?

You northerners can keep your rubbishy town centre Christmas trees. We went to see this last week, it's practically on our back door step. At 36m, tall its the biggest in the country.
