Weird has always existed.

Anyone under 33 wasn't even alive when this was shown one Saturday morning in late 1980 on the show which made Chris Tarrant's name ... Tiswas. Art Garfunkel had a #1 hit with 'Bright Eyes' the theme to the animated film 'Watership Down'.

This kid came on, in a bunny outfit, and did his own rendition. It was a sensation & in times when things weren't repeated an hour later, there was no catch-up' tv and no YouTube etc. .

Matthew the rabbit got rolled out on quite a few episodes after his first appearance.

I've rolled out the Matthew the rabbit vid a few times over the years.

He did indeed. To be honest it was Child Cruelty & his parents should have been investigated for allowing it.

I recall even now the first time he was wheeled out. It was what, today, would be called an "OMG" moment ... I damn near wet myself. Absolute classic of the era ... AND Sally James as well.

I don't know how to post this without doing the 'I posted this already' thing, but... I did yesterday, when it had two pages. The five pages since then have just seen have had me giggling like a child! The Morecambe one with two giant poppies, and the Fleetwood fish had me laughing out loud!

Police have seized 150 kilograms of cheese found in the back seat and boot of a car stopped in Sydney.

The cheese is believed to have been obtained illegally.

Officers pulled over the car at Carlingford, in Sydney's northwest, in the early hours of Thursday.

They allegedly found prohibited drugs and 150kg of Cheese King brand cheese.

The 31-year-old male passenger of the car was charged with possessing a prohibited drug and having goods in custody suspected of being stolen.

He was refused bail and will appear at Ryde local court on Thursday.

A police spokesman said officers he had no choice but to destroy the cache of dairy goods.

"It has all been destroyed" he said.

"Obviously, because it hadn't been refrigerated for a number of hours, it posed a potential health risk."

He would not say how the cheese was destroyed.

Mum and Dan (they like Mrs Browns' boys, so I'm warning you, it's not looking good) used to watch that. I still remember seeing that sketch. I thought the programme was a bit meh generally, but even as a 10 year old, I thought that sketch was utterly fab.

Saw this on Facebook earlier. The bird who posted it reckoned it was a swinger's house. Not sure how she came to this conclusion.
