I didn't know how to spell Lock - but I did see the TV series... the radio show was better... (as usual!)Dave Sutton's barnet wrote:Went on t'telly too, Bish... (If you're looking for it on YouTube, there's no e on the end of Lock)thebish wrote:MP3 files of Sean Locke's radio show "15 Storeys High"...
as we're driving across the Benelux with the kids in a few weeks time, and the radio over there will be less than inspiring - I'm busy "acquiring" MP3 files of various radio comedies to make the journey more tolerable.... fortunately they are now old enough for more adult comedy..
so far I have..
countless episodes of ISIHAC
a few Terry pratchet audio books
several series of the Now Show
15 storeys high
3 series of the very world of Milton Jones (who i saw in Soho recently)
some Boothby Grapho
The Sofa of Time (with Simon Pegg)
The problem with Adam Bloom
oh - and the first series of Fags, Mags & Bags

Bish - for comedy try US TV news satire The Colbert Report - it's on FX (TV) very night at 11pm and is also podcast, so you should be able to scoop a few episodes off iTunes

No. I've never really given the guy a proper listen. Anyway, they were on Later with JH a few weeks back and I just thought that they were absolutely superb. Anyway, driving down through France last week my mate stuck the album on. I couldn't stop listening to it. Superb. It seems as though I've uncovered a whole new thing. What other albums would you recommend?Batman wrote:Bruce Rioja wrote:I was rather hoping that the excellent Dig, Lazarus, Dig!!! by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds might have turned up by the time I got home. Alas, it hasn't!
It's brilliant (have you seen his film - the proposition?)
