I watched three or four episodes, recognised quality, very high, but just not interested in characters or the world they inhabit, gave up... Very easily.

I didn't actually watch it all the other night, I got distracted by Nighty Night. Instead this evening I sat down and watched it all. It's brilliant, honestly it is the most magnificent piece of satire ever. No-body CAN be that stupid. I implore, bessech and beg of you all that you watch it. It is the funniest thing I've ever ever seen or heard. You will not be dissapointed. Honestly.

The Worlds Greatest Dad is a very good film, superb acting from Williams!

but thought Sherlock Holmes was turd.

Watched episode 2 of Bellamy's People on the iPilayer just now. Wasn't sure about the first one but this one's been pretty funny. You've only got 2 hours to catch it though. Next one starts at 10pm on BBC2.

As with many 'highly rated' TV rpogrammes, I like to wait until the fuss has died down before I sit down to watch them, 24, The Wire etc.. and tonight I sat down and watched the first installment of Red Riding. Loved it. Moving, questioning, and brilliantly paced. Looking forward to finding time for the next one.

1 has the style, 2 has everything, 3...just isn't as satisfying. Though to be honest, it had a couple of tough acts to follow.

Oh, might I just add here that the new series of Shameless is a fantastic return to form. Gritty drama with a few laughs thrown in rather than the piss-poor comedy effort that it'd become.

Brilliant all the way through for me, but I did sit down and watch all 3 in a row, which meant 3 brought it all together.

A film I've been meaning to watch for ages - La Vita e Bella, or Life is Beautiful. Got high hopes for it.
