looks promising.
I watched three or four episodes, recognised quality, very high, but just not interested in characters or the world they inhabit, gave up... Very easily.
I didn't actually watch it all the other night, I got distracted by Nighty Night. Instead this evening I sat down and watched it all. It's brilliant, honestly it is the most magnificent piece of satire ever. No-body CAN be that stupid. I implore, bessech and beg of you all that you watch it. It is the funniest thing I've ever ever seen or heard. You will not be dissapointed. Honestly.Prufrock wrote:Just started watching 'I believe in UFOs:Danny Dyer'. Starts with scornfull 'every six mintes someone somewhere spots a UFO. Many cynics aaat there believe the idea of beings from another planet coming to visit as is ridiculous, but is believing in something so many find ridiculous reallt that stupid?'. This could be spectacular.

As with many 'highly rated' TV rpogrammes, I like to wait until the fuss has died down before I sit down to watch them, 24, The Wire etc.. and tonight I sat down and watched the first installment of Red Riding. Loved it. Moving, questioning, and brilliantly paced. Looking forward to finding time for the next one.

1 has the style, 2 has everything, 3...just isn't as satisfying. Though to be honest, it had a couple of tough acts to follow.

so, while you are waiting, and online, are you finally going to the poetry thread and explain your enthusiasm for TSE's comparatively minor poem?
Hmmm, Virgil can wait I suppose.William the White wrote:A treat on the way...Prufrock wrote:As with many 'highly rated' TV rpogrammes, I like to wait until the fuss has died down before I sit down to watch them, 24, The Wire etc.. and tonight I sat down and watched the first installment of Red Riding. A graduate of the Denver School of Advanced Technology, 27 year old Virgil possesses the mechanical aptitude to handle the complex machinery that his craft Thunderbird 2 carries.
The most serious of all the Tracy family, Virgil has no sense of fear and his iron nerve makes him one of the bravest pilots. As pilot of Thunderbird 2 he cannot afford to put people at risk by acts of carelessness.
Virgil is also a gifted artist and accomplised pianist.

Brilliant all the way through for me, but I did sit down and watch all 3 in a row, which meant 3 brought it all together.Verbal wrote:2>1>3Prufrock wrote:As with many 'highly rated' TV rpogrammes, I like to wait until the fuss has died down before I sit down to watch them, 24, The Wire etc.. and tonight I sat down and watched the first installment of Red Riding.
