In the football world cup I would'nt watch it.Bruce Rioja wrote:Does anybody actually ever give a flying feck about the 3rd v 4th game in any competition at all, the world over?
However this is test match rugby and players give their all.
The Pumas put in a great performance, soaked up the early French pressure and importantly did'nt let them score.

Hang on. All of a sudden the French are playing rugby against a sportswear brand, or a groovy wildcat?jaffka wrote:In the football world cup I would'nt watch it.Bruce Rioja wrote:Does anybody actually ever give a flying feck about the 3rd v 4th game in any competition at all, the world over?

Why oh why is this not our national anthem? Inpires more passion than "God save the Queen" every time.Worthy4England wrote:Bring me my Bow of burning gold:

We need to stop giving away stupid penalties.TANGODANCER wrote:Hmmmmm. Better than last time we played them, quite close yet, but a little something needed to turn it. Come on lads.
And we need to sort out our kicking into touch, as the South Africans are so dominant at the lineout that we can't get near them.

Not sure why they were deserved winners as we gave them all the points. They only came near a try once in the whole game.James B wrote:gave away stupid penalties and the saffers were deserved winners, but things could have been very different had we been awarded that blatant try

I think i'll be pushing up daisies before the football team reach a world cup final.TANGODANCER wrote:Ah well, there goes another other one. We'll live to regret that try, and it was, being disallowed. Not sure if the adjudicator saw the same things as us, why he didn't give it. Hard luck lads.
Proud of the lads - to a man.

Errr, we gave them all the points by trying to cheat. RSA were very worthy winners. Learn to live with it!TANGODANCER wrote:Not sure why they were deserved winners as we gave them all the points. Yes, on that basis you're probably right. Fifteen points from penalties is a bit hard to swallow, but well done the Boks.James B wrote:probably with regards to the whole tournamentTANGODANCER wrote:Not sure why they were deserved winners as we gave them all the points.
