The only difference I've noticed since the EU referendum is instead of a bunch of folk moaning about the UK being in the EU, there's a bunch of folk moaning about the UK leaving the EU.

It's crazy!

Look on the bright side hobes, they've pledged to spend more on police and security, they must be listening to you! :D

There'll be at least 2,105,365 of them pissing and moaning about it.

I'm really worried about the proposed UK/US trade deal. It could cost jobs and has something to do with business.

That didn't matter one jot to remain before the vote did it?

The result of a leave vote was going to send cascades of gloom and doom and wars would rage around Europe.

Another country coming to the reality of the damage to it's self and the need to find agreement.

It will be the Spanish, Portuguese and many of he backwater labour exporting countries that will try and scupper any deals, mainly because the gravy train may stop or be delayed for them.

I suspect they were pissed off with EU labour laws. F*cking health and safety bastards. I propose we do like Dubai, and just pretend no-one dies in construction. Save us a fortune.

"Owen Smith has said he will try to stop Theresa May triggering official EU exit talks unless she offers a referendum on the final Brexit deal".

Was this one hiding under a stone on the 23rd of June? :conf:

It wasn't. It was hidden by the huge poster promising £350m a week for the NHS...

Nah, he was stuck in that queue of Syrian refugees so didn't get in the country in time to vote.

Not sure on the wording but isn't there a sense in saying "this is the brexit deal we will have" and letting people make some kind of decision at that point?

Given that so far they've voted on a known deal vs an unknown one?

I mean as much as I have absolutely no appetite for another referendum there is a certain small strain of argument here that makes sense. Go back to the electorate and say, this is what Brexit looks like is that still what you want given we now know what the terms actually are?
