Re: The Official Xbox 360 Thread
Have just downloaded latest system upgrade, took 190mb?! I've got no room left on my 215mb. What do I do? Buy a memory unit? Any suggestions?

Tetris only takes a couple of meg.Prufrock wrote:Have just downloaded latest system upgrade, took 190mb?! I've got no room left on my 215mb. What do I do? Buy a memory unit? Any suggestions?
Have a looksee if any old saves can de dumped. I've not spotted this yet (190mb) out of 215 being all OS. Has it upgraded a load of apps too that you never use? If not, then when yer full, yer full and bigger drive is generally necessary.
Re: The Official Xbox 360 Thread
Bought Topspin 4 pre-owned (bargain); Red Dead Redemption; and FIFA 13 (I used to love you PES, why did you have to get shit?!) the other day.
That ludicrous system up date came with RDR. Only played about 5 mins so far as I spent most of yesterday deleting old saves just to find room for the 190mb.
Looks like I'm gonna need a memory unit. Any reccos? I've seen little things that look like Playstation memory cards which claim to hold 512MB for like a tenner. Seem legit?

Yours is a 1st gen 360 isn't it Pru? Cos those memory cards don't fit into the S and the E 360s.
You can also put certain USB sticks and external hard drives in them too, though you may need another system update before they'd work. If you've got a spare USB lying about stick it in and see if you get lucky. I reckon you could probably get a full on Hard Disk for a tenner or so anyway.
RDR is the best game ever made. Fact. I literally melted in a pool of molten joy every time I played it.

Brough back good memories for me with RDR. Fantastic game. Easily one of the best to have been released.

I think so, Hoss. It's white and got two memory card slots in the front.
I thought I had a spare external hard-drive knocking about, but I must have left it at home home. Bugger.
Looking at a 512MB card on ebay though. £11. Should be all right.

Loved that game. Took me a while to complete it because I decided my cowboy was too badass to ever run.Prufrock wrote:It's looking good, so far.Worthy4England wrote:I have just purchased RDR, based on this recco.
