Oh, and Oslo Torp is in Sandefjord, 122 KM from Oslo (or 1 hr on the train).
In golf I've perfected the Ryanair shot. It looks OK in the air but it doesn't land anywhere near where I was hoping that it might do.

Nottingham East Midlands, which is nearer to Derby, Burton-on-Trent, Loughborough and Leicester than it is to feckin Nottingham.

You know, for quick jaunts when you have only yourself to worry about I can cope with them .... but I hate the melee which happens when it's clear the gate is near to being opened and a free-for-all scrummage begins. How difficult can it be to allocate a seat number ?Athers wrote:I actually have a grudging admiration for the guy who thinks all the amazing ways to charge you for things which used to be included in the price of the ticket.
Print pass off first, have a bag the right size and weight, arrive in plenty time, check where your destination airports actually are.... There are few worries from there.
Although easyJet are better.
I learnt a long time ago that they normally exit you at the back on the Dublin/Manchester routes .... and also very often onto a bus. So the fight to be near the front for a quick exit is pointless.

Love those.
The circular one could honestly give the normal one a run for it's money.

Oh my god. You know when you've reached a social nadir when people actually gasp at you. That sort of gasp which means "you've got to be joking, right?" and actually you're not, you've just not moved with the times or are lacking in vital information that, apparently, the rest of the world assumes to be ubiquitous. It usually happens to me regarding the latest earth-shattering release of some Apple device or similar.
Well I've just been the recipient of that gasp. One of the women even squealed in a little high pitched moue of disbelief. And all I did, after listening to some idle tittle tattle gossip cum banter in the kitchen at work, was ask the entirely innocent question "Who the f*ck is Prince George?"
[don't bother with sending me answers on a postcard - I've now been informed thank you very much]

Well I'd rather he did cos then I would just have ruined thankyou cards and still have my pastry wheras this way I only had half my pastry (covered in dog slobber) and last time I checked people weren't grateful to get urine soaked cards in the post...Abdoulaye's Twin wrote:At least the dog didn't eat the thank you cards.

I bet the dog's grateful that your little boy didn't wee on the pastry before he ate it, though
