All parents do. I have four children (now mercifully all adults). The number of things I have sat through with an encouraging smile on my face are beyond count. At least your kid got one line, Grunt.bobo the clown wrote:... & you'll remember it forever.Annoyed Grunt wrote:Sat through an hour and a half of the Schools Christmas play.....my lad said one line......

Oxford Street for Xmas shopping for the inlaws. Hell. People, fecking people everywhere. One highlight though as I walked into Selfridges into the middle of a Nigella book signing. She is really fit in real life! I thought it would be some sort of camera magic tricks and a shitload of make-up and lighting. Absolutely banging, and not just 'for her age'.

I found the Regent & Oxford street christmas experience as magical as a dog being sick on your new shoes.
however what was good was the recording of Graham Norton show at London TV studios last night. im not a fan of the show generally but was just excited just to be inside the studio all the lights and cameras and watching the crew do there thing n'that. but i really enjoyed the show too, front row seats, didnt know the line up before hand so was surprised when girls aloud pitched up! other guests were Dawn French, Martin Freeman and Lee Mack. Graham was good too. cant knock it for nowt.

Aren't they set slightly lower than the 'stage'? You must have had a good view of the girl's* from that angle.

we were front row of the fixed seating, then are three rows of loose chairs just by the stage, these were filled with friends of the crew iit seemed. defo got a good view though, but the two in skirts sat behind the couch, the bastards.

Well it's certainly not the latter, so I'm hoping it isn't the former.BWFC_Insane wrote:Is it that norovirus or overindulgence? If the former stay in bed!Bruce Rioja wrote:Office Christmas bash. Insides currently being held together by Imodium. Timing could be better.

Well I hope not as well. I'm currently suffering with suspected norovirus and it's fairly hideous.Bruce Rioja wrote:Well it's certainly not the latter, so I'm hoping it isn't the former.BWFC_Insane wrote:Is it that norovirus or overindulgence? Careful with the Imodium though, keeping bad stuff inside of you, can sometimes make it worse.

Regarding the Imodium: 'Immodium occasionally causes dizziness and a dry mouth', which is exactly where I am with it right now.

Re: Where are you going tonight?
A friend saaid, last evening, that her younger son had just been in their Nativity & as he's 11 now that's the last she'll ever see her son in & it was a bit of a 'moment'.
I asked if he's been aanything important & apparently
"yes ... he was Gareth"
"Gareth ??"
"mmm, the lead part"
"Aaahh, THAT Gareth. Well, of course, we ALL know the story of Gareth !"
"mmm, apparently a materialistic boy who was taught the real meaning of Christmas by a passing Snowman"
Bloody teachers.
