Complete opposite of what I said. Had a decent run in the individuals (last 128, an acihevemnt in itself for a non-first teamer...and then got drawn against the top seed. Lost four nil, but the most frustrating part was that I should have had 3 frames off of him in what was a best of four match)

In the team comp. however...well, let's not go into that.

Also, the irish play some filthy, filthy pool.

Great gig last night, Hot Hot Heat at Scala. Well enjoyed

But, all you theatre-goers...have got tickets to watch 1984 at Royal Exchange. I don't do theatre, but it's my favourite book so am quite excited. Anyone heard owt about it?

this is such a perfect day.

saw a runthrough of AND DID THOSE FEET this morning. looking very good.

whites beat west Ham AGAIN this afternoon.

And tonight taking eldest daughter to MIDUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM at the Octagon - second dose of this excellent production.
