Didn’t think the lack of Flash would bother me but it did after a while, especially when trying to keep up with all new Boardwalk and The Office US on projectfreetv etc – i thought there has got to be a way round it? the answer was simple, just download a different browser! got iPuffin from the app store, now I can go straight to PFTV and watch away instantly! sweet.

Seems slow to me compared to safari will give it a good go for the next week before deciding one way or another

only used it for projectfreetv... and lobstertube. its not perfect, but seems to work.

So has anyone any experienced having to replace a cracked iPad screen?

Mine was stood upright in its case on the arm of the settee when my little’un rampaged past and it toppled to the ground, the screen is not completely shattered, the picture isn’t effected and it still works fine, just has little cracks in the corners, it doesn’t actually need replacing but its still fairly new and i want it to look sharp. I bought it off eBay so have no Apple Care plan or owt like that.
Will Apple repair it if i take it in? would i be better going to an independent place or send it off somewhere, or should i follow the vids on YouTube and do it myself?? Im sure its a pretty common thing? Google isn’t much help.

Take it into the apple shop and ask them. My friend had a similar issue with theirs and it was replaced free!

Not saying they will necessarily do that though, but surely worth an ask.
