Well, you're into your Christmas Day now in the UK. So Merry Christmas to you all.
I'm all alone at the moment (it's comin up to one, PM,) and my wife has popped off to visit our daughter. My cats and a few glasses of libation have been keeping me company. The weather has turned out to be wonderful. It is raining slowly but steadily and the temperature is hovering around the 18ºC mark. Tomorrow when both my children turn up it will be very much different. For the time being I am revelling in solitude.

I refused to even pick the thing up when it was amongst the book club stuff at work. You poor, poor man. Then again, at least you got to open something. We agreed that we wouldn't buy each other presents and would wait until the sales to buy ourselves something that we both want.
