Your post just reminded me of something LGM. What was the name of the group that used to play withLittle Green Man wrote:Ulrich Schnauss - found that before I found my Pixies CDs.
In places it sounds like some German geezer has found a box of Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark albums ready for Uplift. Bizarre!
silver metal? masks over their faces? Might have been an Italian crew; played semi-classical stuff. Been bugging me for a while now. Any clues?

Not my cup of Tetley's by the sounds of it (in fact as far from it as you could possibly get, unless someone does a country and western opera).

No, not the one's. The one's I'm thinking of were more Venitian masked ball type outfits, cloaks etc. I'm sure they played classical instruments too. Seem to remember they had albums in the charts, maybe in the eighties?Little Green Man wrote:There's this lot. Not Italian though.TANGODANCER wrote: Your post just reminded me of something LGM. Tonight it's the long-awaited "Fingering the Devil" album of Sir Richard Bishop (courtesy of LGM). If you're an accoustic guitar buff, get into this. Loved the Spanish-flavoured "Abydos" and the great blues track, "Black Eyed Blue". I'll be on the lookout for any more of his stuff. Well done LGM. Superb.
