You're right near my uni then! TCR is the place to go for sandwiches and electricals. I'd recommend a pub but there are so many similar round there. Mortimer is my favourite, or if you have a yellow card, the court is cheap, and has loads of sports, though it will be full of us students!

Those "quit smoking" stalls really started the imaginative and weird juices of my brain going. I mis-read it as "start smoking, free trial here" and thought in some parallel world that would be well dark and seedy, but very funny. A government controlled by the baccy companies trying to get everyone hooked on smoking. Ah well, back to the less adventurous real life

Depends if we're on Sky general. If we are, the Windmill down Tottenham Court Road (if its still there) shows every game. Its just past Goodge Street Station, on the right hand side as you head towards Oxford Street. Ifits on foreignor someother, the only other place I know is The Sports Cafe between Picadilly and Trafalgar.

Edit: Aparently, the Windmill is now shut. Sorry.

Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

No idea on't foreign TV ones GM, I know one that sometimes has it but it's way up here in Tottenham, and unless it's on normal Sky, I normally watch it at home.

Too right there are some absolute shockers!

Best I've found central is the Bree Louise just near Euston. Full of CAMRA beardo weirdos but they do have a good selection of ales.

Better than them catching you doing something else in front of your laptop

Off to see William's play tonight. I note that only a few seats remain for tonight with both Friday and Saturday being sell-outs.
