What are you playing tonight?

If you have a life outside of BWFC, then this is the place to tell us all about your toilet habits, and those bizarre fetishes.......

Just bought "Let it bleed", which I had been looking for some time. For some reason it was nowhere to be found in Spanish music retailers.

It's as well, at his age he can't remember anyway. ;)

Happy Birthday TD, I hope you've had a fantastic day and evening.

Cheers all you good folk. The Wanderer is a good place to be. Don't count how many these days, just add one on and knock two off each year. Here's raising a glass to all of you.

See, for me, the thing with Johnny Cash is that when he just happens to pop up on something by someone else, has a song on a compilation or does a cover of something in his own style then I think that the guy sounds absolutely awesome. Yet I can't listen to a full album's worth of him singing. :conf:
I don't know, I suppose it's just me. :?

I can relate to that. A lot of albums have that effect. JC doesn't have a big voice range, so a lot of his stuff sounds sameish when you listen to an album. Throw a single on and he's great.

Think I'll have a bit of Marty Robbins tonight. "Gunfighter Ballads" Shades of "Cowboys and Combats" "El Paso" is an all time classic. Marty who?????

Agreed. His cover of Nine Inch Nails "Hurt" was on a par with the original. Even better if you watch the video.
