Just been sent some CD's of a few Aussie bands and have been impressed.

Hoodoo Gurus the first two records they put out Stoneage Romeos and Mars Needs Guitars are Power Pop masterpieces. :oyea:
The voices in my head may not be real...but they have some great ideas!

Pendulum - In Silico - which I think is a bit of alright.

Unfortunately on the strenghth of it, I got their other two albums. Difficult to concieve that they're by the same group. :-(

Not digging the newest, Immersion?

I'm listening to Big Sir; some really chilled out stuff with fretless bass awesomeness. Can't go far wrong.

I went watching Snoop Dogg at Manchester Apollo last night, it was AMAZING.

I love the Apollo as a venue, especially for big acts like Snoop, its a lot more intimate than seeing a big production at the MEN or City of Manchester.

Just discovered a new song from a band I like.

"Greenery"

From the two songs I've heard off the second album; I just like the first album.
and the other free song off the second is good.

Have you seen her live, Bishop? If not then I suggest you do. Saw her perform just after she'd finished her stint as NASA's artist in residence (I'm sure I've had this conversation with WtW, he saw her too). Not an O Superman in sight, just a fascinating and entertaining evening.

Yeah - that was a great show...

Bish - is that the one where she starts a riff with 'Which Fassbinder movie is it, where a one-armed man walks into a flower shop...'

If so, i used to have it on cassette, and loved it...

Just checked - it was 'home of the brave' - Here it is... all 58 seconds...

The Beatles catalogue, in chronological order, because I'm reading a very excellent book on them.
