I'm sorry I don't agree. Robbie Savage is a MILLION times better than the likes of Alan Green or Steve Claridge. He has a self deprecating air which makes me enjoy listening to his commentary (granted there isn't too much of it) but no, I like him. On the field however, I think he's a complete C*nt!:mrgreen:William the White wrote:spot on - given up on 606 as long as he's 'hosting'...thebish wrote:whoever decided that Robbie Savage was a good addition to the Radio5 sports commentary team???
whiny, irritating self-important toss-pot...

He's a git ... always was, always will be. The fact that Claridge & Collymore on the other side are gits too doesn't make him any less of one. I don't want to hear his opinions.
The normal reply is "well, don't switch him on" ... well, yes. Good point. I won't.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
"I understand you are a very good footballer" ... "I try".

I hope he works his way through to health, boris. Give him a stroke (forget it, you lot!) for me.boltonboris wrote: Besides all that, we've been told that he's showing some good signs and he's comfortable. Still issues over the functionality of his bladder though. If he doesn't pass water today, it may be the end.

I just think if you HAVE to listen to radio commentary/ punditry I'd rather it's someone who is currently involved in the game rather than a has been (like Claridge) or a never was (like Green).

If I had to choose - I'd always pick Savage over Green - but I don't pay my license fee to be offered the choice between eating my own sick and trapping my knackers in a swinging shed door....

Football players and managers who insert the word 'football' needlessly into sentences during interviews.
'i just want to give my all for this football club' - oh so, you're a footballer?
'it's important for manchester united football club' - sooo, we're not stood here talking about manchester united lacrosse team?
Owen Coyle, you're a big offender here !
'whatever players i bring in, it will be in the best interests of bolton wanderers football club'
- Football club, football club, football club, aaghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh !
