What am I playing tonight? The guitar, for Howl Griff, at Camden's Dublin Castle. Do come along if you're anywhere near. As recommended by Worthy, Bruce and the Bish...

Re: What are you playing tonight?
'Highly' recommended by Bruce, in fact. Cracking venue for you to be playing, Barnetto, (as, of course, you already know). Unfortunately I'll be in Usk.
Good luck for the gig, mate. Are you filming it?

I've been listening to the last Battles album, Gloss Drop. It's blinding. My love for John Stanier couldn't be stronger.

Re: What are you playing tonight?
have never watched x-factor and won't be starting now - but have just looked up this Jade Richards woman from Fife that everyone is talking about...
boy - she has a pretty awesome voice!
let's hope they don't coach it out of her and turn her into a plastic diva (though I fear they will...) leave it raw - it is fine as it is.... please?

Re: What are you playing tonight?
Ah yes - The Sisters. Some truly magnificent stuff.
I lived in Leeds in the early 80's so got to see them in the smallest of pubs and bigger venues such as the Refectory at Leeds Uni (Who Live at Leeds fame).
Slam dancing, noise and dry ice. Takes me back.
Can still see Eldritch now wrapped around the mike delivering his haunting lyrics with cigarette in hand, eyes on stalks .
The start of Heartland: - "Lay me down a long white line" gives a clue to cause of Eldritch's ocular extension.

Is that the place that has pillars running down either side? Watched Death Cab for Cutie there a few years ago. Cracking venue!Wandering Willy wrote:the Refectory at Leeds Uni (Who Live at Leeds fame).
