What are you eating and drinking tonight?

If you have a life outside of BWFC, then this is the place to tell us all about your toilet habits, and those bizarre fetishes.......

Have a mushroom celery and garlic soup on a slow simmer.

Going to have pan-fried mackerel fillet with bay leaves and garlic and purple sprouting broccoli. maybe a new potato.

Have a nicely chilled tasting glass of fino on the go. Have a glass of NZ chardonnay in mind for the food.

My house really, really stinks of fish... Good job daughter is away... She'd be retching in the bathroom...

... "a" new potato Will ? Just the one ?
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Is Samphire any good with bacon? Or will it be a salt overload?

I had fish, chips and peas from Chaes in Harwood. Quite a while since i last did that.

Hated them.

Threw them away half way through.

They tasted so greasy they made me retch.

I don't think they were 'bad' fish n chips - just my tastes have changed so much.

Had it with Cava-for-a-fiver... managed to finish that...

Had you had a 'lightly battered' with said chips and peas then I promise you that you'd have delighted in them. Trust me. Our palates are similar.

I'm worried that your transition to an Anglophobe is complete.

It's eating all that corned beef that's done it.

And another thing......... Don't get fished in by the Walker's French Fries promo in Asda. It's not a good deal at all, it just means that by 23:45 on the night that you bought them then you'll have scoffed 5 packets of them  )

Yeah after one bite I took the batter off and the fish was fine... but the chips I couldn't stomach... Peas were all right, though...

Do you do fizz, bruce? cos that Freixenet for a fiver at morrison's is a feckin bargain...

And, meant to ask you - never found space to go to baron's - ridiculous, I know - but do you recommend?

Went to Tampopo for tea last night, one of my favourite places to eat.

As part of a load of special offers at restaurants in Manchester during February you can buy one get one free on main meals at Tampopo if you tell your waiter/waitress "I love Manchester".

Small price to pay in return for such great food. I had Gyoza dumplings to start and Kway Teow for main; chicken and noodles in a thick soy sauce with chilli and spring onion. Plus the always brilliant chilli prawn crackers on the side. Top place.

Home made Lamb Saag last night. It was tremendous, BUT

I absolutely stink today. I mean.. Fookin' stink!! Shower last night, shower this morning, but it still won't shift. And it's transferred itself onto my clothes!

Made myself and the kids pancakes for breakfast with eggs from the back garden, served with blueberrys and syrup and washed down with milk (them) and a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice and a cup of tea (me) Yum!
