Found out this morning that I've got tickets to watch Avenged Sevenfold in Manchester in November, one more of my fave bands to tick off my list of seeing live, then as a bonus found out they're being supported by Five Finger Death punch, another favourite...... :oyea: :oyea: :oyea:

Well I figured I'd have a listen and come back with "glad you got 'em and not me". Not bad actually (well the first lot anyhow) not sure I'm ready to venture as far as "Five Finger Death Punch" yet though.

 Haha thats fair enough. Avenged Sevenfold are heavily influenced by early Metallica, before they became more "Famous" and they rarely tour over here (apart from festivals). Five Finger Death Punch are far heavier and are an acquired taste too be honest.

Xmas do sorted. I am Kloot tickets for Friday 13th December booked at the Apollo. Would be a shame not to go on the German markets first :pissed:

Old people ..... .

My mother's been in hospital having broken her pelvis in a fall. Now moved into an intermediate care place to get her mobile again. It's a very pleasant place in 'Owfen and she shares a lounge with 4 other ladies.

One was 95 today. She's quite chatty, as is another one aged 88. Both very pleasant.

I'd taken mama reading materials & clothes & Ribena and some Cadbury's Fingers (£1 a box, on offer at Sainsbury's). I offered the box to the two old ladies, whereupon the birthday girl said "Ooooh, lovely .... it's been ages since a young (I know) man offered me a finger !" ... and then chortled away to herself.

#2 lady then joined in with "I prefer 2 at once if you can oblige !!" and the pair of them nearly slid off their chairs giggling.

Smutty beggars.

Was I being harassed ??
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Had a lovely walk round the fields and woods nearby with a good friend and our dogs. Beautiful evening and I swear Paddy smiled all the way round.

Wasn't there a recent documentary on Channel 4 about this type of activity, where people wore Animal masks?

You're suggesting one of those is GG?

I think there's more likelihood that one of those at either end has eaten GG.
