Just had a Tesco chicken salad sandwich. Do they not actually taste of anything or am I still a bit more ill than I thought? :?

was setting off to do a couple of home-communions with the housebound today - only to discover that I had NO RED WINE AT ALL IN THE HOUSE - ANYWHERE!!!!!

this has never happened before...

Seriously - is a slug of Scotch actually any good for shifting the remnants of flu/bad cold? Or is it just an excuse to get the Scotch out? Alcohol, btw, is generally on my school-night banned list.

In all honesty. It would probably have an adverse reaction. It draws blood AWAY from your internal organs and actually cools your core temperature. (Not by much mind, but you'd want to be warm).

You want hot fluids and lots of them (Oo-er).
