If you've got the flu I had, I'd advise you to stick well clear anything vaguely vinegary - the taste was absolutely disgusting. All I wanted for several days was liquids, finally to round to doing a burger and put some jalapenos on it to give myself something to taste. Oh dear...Bruce Rioja wrote: I'm drinking orange juice. I've defrosted some smoked salmon which I could do with eggs, and I've got a million crumpets (well, 12) I'm just not hungry.

Just had a Tesco chicken salad sandwich. Do they not actually taste of anything or am I still a bit more ill than I thought?Little Green Man wrote:If you've got the flu I had, I'd advise you to stick well clear anything vaguely vinegary - the taste was absolutely disgusting. Seriously - is a slug of Scotch actually any good for shifting the remnants of flu/bad cold? Or is it just an excuse to get the Scotch out? Alcohol, btw, is generally on my school-night banned list.

In all honesty. It would probably have an adverse reaction. It draws blood AWAY from your internal organs and actually cools your core temperature. (Not by much mind, but you'd want to be warm).
You want hot fluids and lots of them (Oo-er).
