Had a wee bit of a misty moment there seeing the Kenyan lady in the paralymic swimming, no legs below the knee, twisted fingers and coming in last way behind the rest. Fxcking great cheer from me for her guts. God bless the lady...

I think it's brilliant the Paralympic events are inter-mingled for these games.

Did I really just see the Scot winner of the 400 metres swimming shout " For freedom" in his best Mel Gibson impersonation. (His name's Daniel Wallace.....

Looks like Brownlee may get a fifteen second penalty for feet over the line at the change over. If so that was absolutely stupid and careless after Jodi Simpson gave him such a big advantage...Think he's got away with it...Come Onnnnnn.

South Africa v New Zealand in the 7's. Magic stuff and S.A won. It was like two packs of hyenas scrapping over a kill. I have a new hero, Cecil Afrika...

Re: 2014 Commonwealth Games...
These Commonwealth Games were quite depressing up until today. We spent the whole Games behind Scotland (!) in the medal table. Finally we have edged past them and I can watch without my bowed.
