Where are you going tonight?

If you have a life outside of BWFC, then this is the place to tell us all about your toilet habits, and those bizarre fetishes.......

Good gig? I saw him at Bridgewater Hall last week on his book tour. Half of it was interview and questions and the other half him playing lesser known songs as a solo acoustic set. I thought I was going to a gig, as a mate sorted tickets, so was less than impressed. It wasn't a complete waste of time but I wouldn't have bothered had I known the score. He's an eloquent guy, which elevated some of the usual tour tales above cliché and made it more interesting. He said he's doing 3 nights at the Apollo in November.

Ridiculously good, as always. Really is up there with the best live musicians IMO. Never known a bond between fans and musician like it. Last 3 albums been a bit meh IMO (with highlights) but worth every penny to see live (in my car this time that was 0 pennies, but the point stands.

Was a benefit gig for the Teenage Cancer Trust so Long Live the Queen was proper intense. Also played Substitute which is my fav song and that he'd semi-retired so that was ace too.

Royal Albert Hall is lovely, too!

Went watching Paloma last night....She sounds just as good live as she does on a CD and she did over two hours as well without a break....brilliant :)

Substitute is a brilliant song, agreed. That's the album I listen to most. Apollo gigs should be good.

Lunch at the Bolton Market food court with Bruce and BP has inexplicably turned into a Great Ldver pub crawl. Darts at the Little John has turned into continental lagers on the Great Lever Riviera (queen Elizabeth beer garden). The sun is shining, happy days.

I'm just trying to work out what the misspelled word towards the end of your first sentence should be. Very confusing! Glad I left after the food now, you deviants!

We've reached Horwich now. Home of Bobo's bannings, restriction orders and Big Dan. Lever End's battered and has sent Penders on as a sub. Me? I've supped more boiling tar! :)

All the very best with those, mate. This is the first time that I've woken up in Horwich since I last went in Sundowners!

Today: Yorkshire Sculpture Park. An incredible day out, and we only got about a half way round it. Looking forward to going back to finish it off the next time that I'm off.
