The Anise remains good btw.
It was the exact same week one year ago when Godson plays cricket for Derbyshire against the feral youths of other counties at Shrewsbury School.
Did he get anywhere, come on tell us the story.
Sorry Dan, do you mean has my Godson got anywhere with his cricket? If so then he's still playing for Derbyshire Colts.

Chiswick, but I could always alter my route to accommodate. Not sure which days yet though as it depends on the arrival of the royal baby (long story).

Well, the royal baby's Uncle Harry certainly isn't Prince Charles's, so you never know. ;)

Agreed. I'll see what I can sort out.

You've got balls of steel lad. You hardly died on yer arse. Audience seemed to be rooting/routing(?) for you although the chap walking over in the middle of your set was a bit odd - thought he was invading the stage to chin ya!

Ok, am home, proper coverage and therefore have listened/ watched.
Very good... really.
To be honest, it was not the greatest stand up gig I've ever heard, but it was far far far better than the usual beginner's dross. Quite original too (in a limited way).
Ok proper criticism [insofar as I mean what I'm about to say is meant to help you be even better next time].
3 observations:
Develop more of the Bolton theme, and don't be ashamed to wholeheartedly rip content from off here for example.
S L O W D O W N a bit. Not too much, but you're a tad too fast with some of the delivery, especially on the telling points in the EDL/Greggs thing.
And, try it without using your right hand as much. It was more distracting than adding to the story. I'd suggest practicing without using it at all and then in a gig, bringing it out on the emphasis when your body naturally does stuff other than stand there. More effective that way.

And finally, take me on as your agent, it's about time I discovered somebody.

Well done. If that was one of your shitter gigs then you've got real talent for stand up.

I told him people thought he meant Mecca bingo!

He did die, in that people didn't laugh, but the audience were f*cking dense. They went mental over some 'eccentrics' doing silly voices and taking their shirts off. Sometimes the audience are right. Sometimes they're just thick.

I was well prepared (and not at all looking forward to :D) slagging him off for being shit, but I was grudgingly impressed! There were two guys in the first half who were quite clever and interesting, and Mr Kint in the second. Obviously stuff to work on delivery wise; timing, confidence, but I didn't come away thinking that was 'unfunny' which is fecking startling given how shit a lot of these acts are.

He didn't bring the hot American friend though, so lost marks for that.

It was the right link for me but the audio wasn't good for these old ears. Still, I could here the audience titter now and then so ir couldn't be all bad.

No Bruce, I just need to be in a pub what has WiFi if they say they have. Not somewhere where it takes 20 minutes just to refresh the feckin page.
