Daybreakers last night when I couldn't sleep, quite enjoyed it.
My dog (proper 57) had his anal glands emptied once and yes the smell is something to behold!!

Don't ruin it with 4th one. Just pretend it never happened.Latham8wfc wrote:Last night watched 25th Hour and Inside Man - A Spike Lee night (not that that was planned, just sort of happened)
25th Hour - decent enough, Ed Norton is quite good 6/10.
Inside Man - Quality film, Cilve Owen and Denzel on top form 8/10.
Tonight Blue Bloods Sky+ from last night and then doing the Aliens Quadrology (if thats a word) over the next couple of nights, missus has never seen them and thinks films like 'drag me to hell' are good horror films......is it cruel to scare the crap out of your girlfriend???

Just watched Mephisto, directed by Istvan Szabo. In German. English subtitles. Magnificent. simply fab.
Blew me away. Not seen for 25 or so years but still hugely powerful.
In an update of the Faust legend, a promising young German actor, sympathetic to the communists, but desperate for fame, wealth, flesh, makes compromise after compromise with the victorious Nazis and, thus, loses his wife, his lover and his soul.
To anticipate... No, not many laughs; yes it is in a foreign language; I do prefer it to Hollyoaks, and, for the man of the cloth, lots and lots of nudey women...

I'm guessing you haven't watched Bruno yet then?
Ocean's Twelve is awful. Bruno is on a whole other level.

Not yet, Chief. I'll try to watch it over the weekend and let you know how it goes.Prufrock wrote:Bruce Rioja wrote:Ocean's Twelve, mate. You haven't seen utterly diabolical until you've seen that.Prufrock wrote:Bruno is the worst film I have ever seen.

Oh, and I've just remembered another truly awful film that I've tried to forget. Can't remember the title of it but it came out about a year ago. This bird follows this band and it turns out that they're vampires - and she becomes a vampire too. Absolute shite, my man.
May the bridges I burn light your way
