Murray is handing out an absolute battering here.
2nd round of a grand slam and its like he's playing an amateur down the park. Trick shots, the lot....
Edit: Finished 6-1 6-1 6-0 Comprehensive!

Anybody watching Andy Murray play the Baptist? Murray two sets up but some intriguing tennis in the match. Don't know how the Baptist chap rates, but Murray's well in charge.

Just watched Murray's interview. Apparently Bautista is rated about 17 now. 6-2,6-3,6-2 in straight sets. Great tennis from Murray, because the Baptist put in some class shots.BWFC_Insane wrote:23 in the world so no mug.TANGODANCER wrote:Anybody watching Andy Murray play the Baptist? Watched Murray play the giant last night. He'll be a cracker if he sorts his first serves out.
Wasn't as much one-sided as it might sound. Well done Murray, anyway.

Looked to be struggling even in the first week.BWFC_Insane wrote:Nadal out. Good. Can't stand him.
Don't get how anyone can dislike him though! Girlf is really irritated by him but I can't get my head around why?! She likes Federer too

Never seen Nadal diving, cheating or faking death. He's just very good at what he does (as a few cabinets full of trophies will attest to).

Can't put my finger on it. I just think his game is fairly graceless but then he's not alone in that and isn't why I can't take to him.Prufrock wrote:Looked to be struggling even in the first week.BWFC_Insane wrote:Nadal out. Good. Can't stand him.

I think it is the length of time he takes between points and the fact he is always picking at his fecking arse that really irritates me.

See, I think he's sound. I fecking detest Federer though. I think he's a pompous, obnoxious nice person.BWFC_Insane wrote:Nadal out. Good. Can't stand him.

Funny isn't it? I quite like Federer though him winning Wimbledon every year became a bit dull, like Sampras when he did it....Bruce Rioja wrote:See, I think he's sound. I fecking detest Federer though. I think he's a pompous, obnoxious tw*t.BWFC_Insane wrote:Nadal out. Good. Can't stand him.
But I always think Federer is pretty shy more than owt else.

I think they're both lovely chaps. But for some undefinable reason, I seem to prefer watching Eugenie Bouchard play

Naturally, she's from Montreal. There couldn't be another reason, could there?LeverEnd wrote:I think they're both lovely chaps. But for some undefinable reason, I seem to prefer watching Eugenie Bouchard play

Murray absolutely getting crushed by Dimitrov so far. 6-1 to Dimitrov first set.
Did fear for this match for Murray. Dimitrov has got his game together and is widely tipped to be the first in the "next group" to break the stranglehold of Murray/Djoko/Fed/Nadal.
EDIT: Just watched a few minutes. Has to be said Murray is playing an absolute stinker of a match. Bizarre given his earlier form this tournament.
